Jennifer Galloway – Agent Spotlight Bio

Jennifer Galloway likes to say she’s a “guide to good food and great homes,” and there may not be a more fitting description. A lifelong Fairhope local with generations of family roots preceding the founding of Fairhope itself, Jennifer has spent years introducing visitors to the people, places, and flavors that make this town special– specifically through her work with Taste of Fairhope. What many don’t know is that becoming a tour guide marked a profound turning point in Jennifer’s own life. After seven years of facing serious illness and being bedridden much of the time, she found that stepping back into the world through food tours brought her joy, connection, and healing. It became the final piece of her recovery journey and helped shape the compassionate, people-first person she is today.

As Jennifer led guests through Fairhope’s restaurants—sharing local history, culture, and stories along the way—she noticed a common theme: people weren’t just falling in love with the food, they were falling in love with Fairhope itself. Tour guests often asked Jennifer for recommendations on where to live and which agents to work with. Around the same time, with one child engaged and two college-aged children beginning their own adventures, Jennifer realized she wanted a career that offered flexibility and purpose without sacrificing the work she loved. Real estate became the natural extension of what she was already doing: listening closely, building relationships, and helping people find the perfect fit. Whether she’s matching clients with their dream home or introducing them to their new favorite restaurant, Jennifer’s priority is simple: she wants people to feel cared for, understood, and genuinely glad they chose to walk through the journey with her.

Jennifer believes one of the greatest lessons she’s learned is to do it scared. Living with chronic illness taught her that success doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s, and that there is strength in creating the unique path that works for you. She values the family atmosphere at MBR and loves being part of a team that feels supportive rather than competitive. When she’s not working, you’ll find her cooking at home, planning her next food-focused trip across the country, chasing live music (the dream is Dave Matthews at the Gorge for Labor Dave weekend), or taking every side quest in search of an unforgettable meal! Through it all, Jennifer’s love for the city she calls home remains at the heart of everything she does: she sees Fairhope’s growth through the hopeful eyes of the visitors she works with, and feels honored to help them find not just a house here, but a place to truly belong.
