Lindsey Wilson – Agent Spotlight Bio

Lindsey Wilson, what a powerhouse! Spend just a little bit of time with this ambitious woman, and you will quickly see her shining qualities characterizing everything she does. Lindsey is driven. She is dedicated. And she thinks BIG! Lindsey’s college career began at Auburn University, where she majored in History and Political Science. After an interim visit home to tend to family needs that had arisen, she graduated from the University of South Alabama. But she set her sights even higher than that, and returned to Auburn for her Master’s in Real Estate Development, which she just completed this past May (CONGRATULATIONS!). By the time she set out for her Master’s, Lindsey was married with one daughter, and it was an undertaking that her whole family committed to together. Regardless of what her college career looked like, Lindsey has always kept her family her highest priority, maintaining a truly inspiring interconnection between responsibility and relationships.

Lindsey’s graduate work in commercial real estate development has taken her all over the U.S. and across the world! Whether it was taking a closer look at architecture in Philadelphia, exploring construction in Boise, presenting proposals to large investment banks in New York, or getting a close-up view of developments and challenges in South Africa, Lindsey’s capstone project and multiple field-study trips have made her an expert in her field. What does this look like as a day-to-day real estate agent in Baldwin County? Prior to this past year, Lindsey primarily worked in single family residential sales. But nowadays, her focus lies in connecting with land development companies that specialize in single family homes. Lindsey’s husband, Chris, has his home builders’ license and is the former director of construction for a local homebuilder. Between their two arenas of expertise, the two of them have great vision for the future!

Both the maternal and paternal lines of Lindsey’s family have resided in Fairhope since the 1850’s. While at one point, Lindsey and Chris considered relocating to Charlotte or Boston, their love for coastal life won over and they never again questioned staying. The Wilsons love to fish, and their excursions have taken them to all different states, including Montana and North Carolina. (Lindsey will tell you that her trophy catch was a breathtaking Blue Marlin back in 2012!) But they can always find what they’re looking for right here at home, among the small inlets of Grand Bay, where you can’t hear a single thing except the wind in the marsh grass. One of Lindsey’s core values is hard work, but she also knows how to unplug and enjoy the time of her life with family and friends. It’s their weekend tradition to head to Dauphin Island or Petit Bois Island to spend the whole day picnicking, playing in the water, and relaxing. Lindsey loves Baldwin County and the Eastern Shore, and feels soundly rooted. Here is her place, here are her people.
