For Randi Starr, Baldwin County isn’t just where she lives—it’s the place she’s called home for three decades and counting! After all the memories she’s made here, she can’t imagine being anywhere else. She and her husband have built their life here in Fairhope, raising five children and running two 5-Starr (wink wink) family businesses—5 Starr Plumbing and 5 Starr Heating and Air.
Before real estate, Randi was a full-time mom who kept the books for the family businesses. But after years of balancing ledgers, she felt the pull toward something different—something that enabled her to connect with people in a more personal way. Three years ago, she stepped into real estate, and while the pace was busier than she at first imagined, this career has given her exactly the tailored fit she was looking for: flexibility to be active in her children’s lives, and the joy of building friendships with the people that real estate brings her way.
Randi’s home is nothing if not high energy! With her children ranging from toddler to junior in college, the family is always on the go, whether it’s to their son’s baseball games at Auburn University in Montgomery, softball games, cross-country meets, or cheer competitions. So it’s no surprise that Randi understands firsthand what makes a house work for a big, active family! That insight has become one of her greatest strengths as an agent. She doesn’t just help clients buy a home; she helps them envision how their lives can thrive within it.
Interwoven with running her successful real estate business, Randi’s world revolves around her family, faith, and community. The Starrs live in Fairhope near Fish River, where they love paddle boarding together. After a long day, you’ll find Randi in her happy place on the back porch, in the plush porch swing her husband built, enjoying their double-sided fireplace. Randi’s church, as well as her parents who live nearby, both play a central role in their lives as well, ensuring everything runs smoothly on days full of showings and closings! In the midst of it all, Randi also loves her book club, which is currently working its way through Kristin Hannah’s award-winning historical fiction.
What clients love most about Randi is the way she treats them like family. Many who first meet her as strangers soon find themselves around her dinner table, sharing meals, laughter, and even a game of cards. For Randi, real estate isn’t just about houses—it’s about people, relationships, and creating a place to call home.
